The page shows the masthead “Ulutas Genetic Research Journal” and, beside it, the line “Open Access and Peer-reviewed Medical Journal”. Its navigation offered Home, Journal Issues, Guide for Authors, Editorial Board, Aims & Scope, and About Journal, with buttons for Online First, Current Issue, Archive, Most Downloaded, Most Accessed and Most Cited, and a green “Submit article ONLINE” seal. The page footer states that articles were “open access articles licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial License”.

Of the Publisher

The same page, headed “About Publisher (SAGEYA)”, says: “SAGEYA is a Publishing Company in Ankara, Turkey.” It gives an official website, bizimdijital.com, a main office in Ankara, and adds: “There is no parent companies of SAGEYA.” It records itself as “Last updated: March 03, 2015”.

Of the Nine Titles

The publisher stated: “Currently there are 9 medical journals had been published by SAGEYA. All of these journals are open access and peer-reviewed.” The list it gave:

The Ulutas Genetic Research Journal is not among the nine, although the page sits on this journal’s own domain and uses its design. The page does not say why. This Register offers no explanation.

Of the Dates

The Internet Archive index shows that page with three captures between 21 December 2015 and 26 October 2016, and site images for the domain captured between 14 June and 26 October 2016. This Register has found no archived issue content, and states no ISSN, editor or article count, because none was seen.
